The course is designed for preparing students with limited English background to be familiar with classes that use English as a medium language; academic reading/writing and listening/speaking at the college level; adapting oneself to the new environment of teaching and learning with multi-national teachers; becoming better readers and developing independence and enjoyment in reading outside of class; in order to become successful learners in academic courses.
